The hamlet of Basse Copette is set on the side of a small hill in the Forêt d’Eu, only an hour and a half from Calais, and 45 minutes from Dieppe, in Upper Normandy.
La Grange has 3 comfortable bedrooms (sleeps 6-8), 2 bathrooms and a games room. The large living room has a fireplace and an exposed oak-beamed cathedral ceiling. There is a well-equipped kitchen (including dishwasher and washing machine), as well as a private patio area with garden furniture and a BBQ. La Grange is available for self catering family holidays throughout the year on a weekly basis from June to September; shorter weekend and midweek stays are possible in other months. From €275 per week.
La Grange is set in a two-acre, fully enclosed garden, with there is a large swimming pool (5×9 meters), a boules pit (2×15 meters), and plenty of safe space for children to run around and play games.
From this quiet, rural setting everything Normandy and Picardy has to offer is within easy reach, something to suite everyone and every interest. There are numerous well known archaeological and historical sites, World War 1 and 2, various châteaux and museums, and of course the medieval cities of Amiens and Rouen. Paris, Monet’s home at Giverny, Parc Asterix and Disneyland are popular days out from Basse Copette. The nearest beach is 35 minutes away.
