Changeover day
Saturday change over day, leave by 11am. Available late afternoon but flexible, if earlier required. Flexible for out of high season or longer period bookings

Large L shape sofa bed. TV with UK satellite (freeview channels) and French channels. Chiminey insert fire.

Cleaning/towels/Linen/maid service:

Towels and linen are included. Cleaning is not included and the property must be left clean and tidy. Beach towels not included.

Mervent 25 mins drive for walking, hiking, cycling, canoeing, adventure parks and zoo.

La Rochelle Airport, 35mins. Nantes and Poitiers approx 1 hour. St Malo 3 hours. Calais 6 hours.

Le Poire has chemist and co-op for essentials. Velluire has boulangerie, post office, restaurant and bar tabac. Local signposted walks, and cycle routes. Fishing in the Vendee river, permits from tabac in Velluire. Local gastronomic restaurant in Velluire, with walks along the river. Local villages have historic ruins and chateau to visit and boat trips in the Marais Poitevin. La Rochelle has sea fishing and boat trips to Fort Boyard and Islands, and many fine seafood restaurants.

The house is in two parts 160M2 in an old restored farmhouse. One level with 3 bedrooms is completely independent with private entrance via stairs on the side. A total of 6 bedrooms with 13 beds and a drawer bed. All with en suite shower, two baths. 4WC independent fireplace, flat screen TV, DVD, WIFI, dining and living area for 14. baby bed and high chair.

Stunningly beautiful B&B on the border of Normandy and Pays de Loire. This 18th century Normandy farmhouse is set by a fishing lake, with acres of gardens filled with flowers and forest views. 8km to Alençon.

Choose from 3 immaculate, individually styled guest rooms with full en-suite facilities, including one room with twin beds. Large, modern baths and showers. Electric heating and heated towel rails. Radio, hairdryer, toiletries, wifi.

On the first floor, next to the bedrooms, a guest salon with library and board games are at your disposal.

Ancinnes is located near Alençon in the Normandie Maine Park between the Perche and the Alpes Mancelles, a perfect base for exploring Lower Normandy and north of the Pays de la Loire. 10 minutes from the A28, Alençon and Mamers, stop for a few nights and see a lovely region little known to the British tourist but beloved of the French. Le Mans is also just 30 minutes (40km) away.
