Le Camélia in Guemene Penfao
This building is truly unique in shape (a challenging renovation) and ambiance but we hope you will be as charmed by its quirkiness as we are. Enter by the porch made from the salvaged timbers of the cider press into the lovely light spacious open plan living area. It is tiled throughout the ground floor, with windows onto the garden and also onto the fields at the front of the property. With two large comfy sofas, one of them being a sofa bed, an armchair, rug, coffe table and a large woodburner very original wrought iron table and chairs and a fully equipped kitchen area all add up to a home away from home. There is also a shower room and WC on this floor as well as a handy broom cupboard. Upstairs there is a large window overlooking the garden, a spacious double bedroom with wardrobe, set of drawers with vanity mirror, two bedside tables and lamps and a wicker chair. Plenty of space for a cot or a folding bed. The twin room is further along and contains two single beds each with bedside tables and lights and an ornamental clothes rail with shelves, there is also room for a folding bed. There is also another independant shower room and WC on this floor. Exposed stone walls and old oak beams can be seen throughout. Ouside is a private patio with picnic table, parasol, BBQ and sun loungers. The garden is shared and has a boules pitch, Tennis de Table, a large swing set, table football and soon to be completed – a stunning play house based on a Sussex barn.
