La Robine

We rent out the ground floor of our family home, a beautiful old stone house with stunning views overlooking the village of La Robine sur Galabre, near the town of Digne-les-Bains in the Alpes de Haute Provence (2.25 hours from Marseille and Nice).

•sleeps 6-7
•2 bedrooms and a sitting/dining room with convertible sofa;
•2 bathrooms with WC and shower
•access to WIFI
• barbeque, terrace, outside kitchen (private)
•swimming pool 8.5 x 5m (shared with us: French dad, English mum and kids: boy 13, girl 10).

The house is in a Geological Reserve and there are loads of things to do in the area, for example:

•Many hikes or bike rides; canoing, canyoning, rafting, peddle boating or swimming in stunning lakes or the Verdon Gorges

In Digne:
•Museum of the Réserve Géologique, then discover the things exposed there “in situ” (circuits on foot and by car)
•House of Alexandre David Neel, the writer and explorer – an extraordinary woman who spent many years in Tibet
