La Fermette has been newly renovated and lovingly restored to a high standard. It has a rare corner position, and totally secluded garden. It has a separate kitchen/dining room. Living room with satellite TV, DVD player and stereo, a good selection of DVD’s, lots of books and information on what to see locally, with French doors to your own private garden with outstanding views, totally private and unoverlooked. The garden has a seating area with table and chairs and a parasol, BBQ and sunbeds. There is a vegetable and fruit garden, where you can pick your own organic produce (subject to season) and the happiest free range chickens for the freshest eggs at no cost to you. This is an idyllic, tranquil location, perfect for cycling, rambling and chilling out. Our location gives you the best of both a countryside setting and the easy access to the unspoilt beaches nearby. There are some pretty places to see also, such as Moncontour and Jugon les Lacs and Josselin.
Accommodation

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 (1st floor) with double bed & 1 single bed, double wardrobe, dressing table, chest of drawers, rocking chair, TV with satellite, 1 window. It has original oak beams. There is a hairdryer, tongs. Bedroom is very large with solid wood furniture.
Bathrooms: It is a shower room with washbasin, toilet and shower. There is a power point.
Kitchen: This is fully fitted with a gas cooker, washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher, Large fridge with freezer compartment. Toaster, George Foreman grill, slow cooker, plenty of cookware and utensils. There is a table, 4 chairs and a dresser.
Utility Room: Storage cupboard next to kitchen with iron, ironing board, storing coats, shoes, etc, and cleaning equipment.
Living Rooms: A comfortable room which looks out onto your private garden. 1 leather sofa and chair. There is satellite TV, DVD player with a good choice of DVDs. We also have a stereo for CDs, radio. There is plenty of books, games and local information & maps.
Other: Parking. You have two private car parking spaces enclosed on the property behind metal gates, which is totally secure. This leads you to your private entrance/exit via the french doors in the living room. There is storage in our garage for bicycles etc.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: Bed linen and towels are provided, and beds made on arrival. It is cleaned before each rental, and for stays of more than one week, fresh linen will be provided. We offer a welcome pack for you. Also, we can offer prepared evening meals, ready on request.
In your private garden, you have a table and chairs, a bench, BBQ, parasol, sunbeds, and is totally private. This garden gets the sun in the morning, and until the early evening. It is perfect for a leisurely breakfast on the patio, or a glass of wine in the evening, with nothing but a wonderful view to look at.

Accommodation

For a touch of romance, experience the traditional antique French double-bed in the main room; the sleeping loft has a gallery which overlooks the living area and is furnished with a comfortable antique double bed and a day-bed. The children’s room features a twin bunk-bed and a cot-bed is available on request.

The open plan lounge is light and airy with a wood-burning stove and galleried ceiling.

The large kitchen/dining area includes dishwasher, gas hob/electric oven, fridge and microwave.

The gîte is equipped with a DVD player, video and English satellite TV and a music system. A variety of DVDs are provided as well as a range of games and activities for all weathers and ages.

The modern well-appointed bathroom has a large shower and WC.

In the utility room you’ll find a washing machine and ironing board as well as extra storage space.

While the gîte is non-smoking, step outside into the large garden with its outdoor table, chairs and sun parasol. Make the most of eating al-fresco with the purpose built BBQ shelter. Behind the gîte is a boules area and in a shady corner you’ll find a swing and climbing frame for the more energetic members of the family!

La Crèche has its own mini flock of hens, which you can feed and collect the eggs (for your own use) or we can do this for you, a treat for most children.

The village of Plourin is just 5 minutes away by bike so enjoy the cycle for your freshly baked morning croissants. Or burn a few extra calories and cycle down to the port of Argenton (about 15 minutes by bike) where you can enjoy a coffee in the local bar whilst deliberating over the days patisseries.

You’ll be spoilt for choice with restaurants dotted all along the coast. Discover creperies, restaurants boasting fresh seafood, haute cuisine, traditional bistros and family pizzerias. Indulge your senses with a walk through the daily markets brimming with fresh locally grown vegetables and seafood caught that morning.

The variety of coastal scenery in the area means that there really is a beach for everyone. La Pommeraie is our holiday home in the tranquil countryside of Brittany – a detached farmhouse situated in a small hamlet near Cléguérec. The house comfortably sleeps six people in three bedrooms and is ideal for families or couples. The house, garden and orchard are perfect for relaxation and privacy, but visitors wishing to venture further afield will find our house is well situated for exploring the varied attractions of Brittany.

Inside, the house is fully equipped with all modern facilities, whilst outside there is plenty to do in the one acre garden and orchard. La Pommeraie has central heating making it suitable for a holiday at any time of the year.

Quatorze Cottage and Apartment

Beautiful, Affordable, Flexible 3/4 bedroom, 3 bathroom cottage, Master Suite with balcony, 2 large reception rooms, country kitchen and large elevated deck looking out over magnificent countryside.
There are two reception rooms, the sitting room is a large but wonderfully cosy room with double aspect windows. There is a wood burning stove for the colder months but during the summer months this is the coolest room in the house with its thick stone walls. For entertainment there is a TV with Freeview, DVD Player, Stereo and plenty of books.
The 2nd sitting room has recently been refurbished, its a lovely, bright room even on dull days due to the three windows and large french doors which open up on to the elevated deck. There is a dining table for eight as well as a large sofa, TV with Freeview and a bar/kitchen area.
Master suite with sitting area, dressing area and luxury shower room. There is a super kingsize bed and if required the room is large enough to accommodate a single bed for a child. There are french doors leading onto a large private balcony overlooking the valley and woods beyond.
Bedroom 2 has a kingsize bed, a lovely feature fireplace and oak beams.
Bedroom 3 has a double bed and childs bed, beams and large armoire and is next to the family bathroom
Bedroom 4 is on the ground floor along with a shower room and can be set up as a twin or double as required. Both the bedroom and shower room are optional and can be closed off if not required thereby reducing the weekly rental.
Kitchen facilities
Large Kitchen/Diner with dishwasher, washing machine, Smeg electric cooker and gas hob, integrated fridge and freezer. Large stone feature fireplace with wood burning Rayburn for use in the cooler months. French doors lead out to the side of the house and onto the elevated deck.
External facilities
The garden wraps around the property, there is a large circular drive at the front with parking for 5 vehicles, a small courtyard area in front of the cottage with flower garden. At the rear is a large grassed area with fruit trees. The deck is 5m x 8m with built in seating and there are plenty of chairs and tables. There is a BBQ, a hammock seat in the great oak and a fire pit at the bottom of the garden.
Special features
Quatorze Cottage is a 3 bedroom property with a 1 bedroom self contained apartment, there is an interconnecting door into the cottage and when renting the Cottage you have use of the Apartments sitting room. You can choose to rent out the extra bedroom and bathroom too for £100 per week but if you dont require 4 bedrooms then we simply lock them and you pay the flat rental charge.
Alternatively you may choose to use this area as a self contained unit thereby enabling two groups or larger family parties to holiday together but not get under one anothers feet. The self contained unit is all on the ground floor level and suitable for guests who have reduced mobility.

Please note: We do not let The Apartment as a seperate unit between May and September, when renting Quatorze Cottage you get the whole property to yourselves.

Les Cerisiers, Brittany – near Dinan

Originally two cottages with a staircase at each end of the house giving separate access to two en-suite bedrooms on one side and three bedrooms with a family shower room and toilet on the other side. Les Cerisiers, a gite near Dinan in Brittany, is the ideal holiday home for more than one family holidaying together, or for groups of friends. There is large kitchen, dining table to seat 10, lounge with wood burning stove, family room and utility room. Outside is a lovely private secluded garden with swimming pool, swings, ample private parking and a BBQ. For families travelling with young children we are very happy to provide, at no extra cost, a steriliser, hand blender, travel cot, baby bath, changing mat, highchairs and booster seats, pushchair and child size crockery and cutlery. We also have a great range of toys, books and videos to entertain the younger (and older) guests. The house is also perfect for a smaller group and we offer discounted rates.

Situated between Dinan and Lamballe, with many wonderful beaches less than half an hour’s drive. Jugon is a beautiful medieval town built by a lake offering a huge variety of watersports and outdoor pool complex. There are good restaurants and a great bakers. Locally you can find cycling, horseriding, walking, golf and fishing. The surrounding towns and villages have bustling and colourful local markets and plenty of festivals.

All electric, towels and bed linen are included in the price. The pool is an above ground pool 4.5m in diameter and is entered via a portable ladder. We respectfully remind parents that the safety of their children in and around the pool is their responsibility at all times. The pool will be available June to September.
