La Miniere Gite is in the Brenne National Park, in the hamlet of La Miniere opposite the village pond. It is a newly refurbished barn completed in 2010 to a very high standard. The gite is 10 minutes from the A20 motorway, the medieval town of St Benoit and 15 minutes from the lovely town of Argenton Sur Creuse. The Brenne is a wonderful area for walking and the area is full of interesting towns and lakes. The gite has an open plan kitchen/lounge/dining room and 2 large bedrooms and a large bathroom with bath and a separate shower cubicle. There is a private drive and garden with a large patio area with garden furniture and bbq. The surroundings are rural and tranquil.

The gîte, which has been approved as a three star gîte by the ‘Gîtes de France’ (see http://www.gites-de-france-limousin.com/ ) is a tastefully rehabilitated old farmhouse. It is located in very peaceful surroundings in a small rural hamlet. It is comprised of:
- A large and light living room with traditional farm fireplace, and sitting and dining areas. TV, DVD, video and CD players.
- Two bedrooms, one double and one twin
- Well-fitted kitchen with washing machine, fridge, gas cooker and oven, microwave and dishwasher
- Bathroom (toilets separate) with bath and shower.
There is also a deep-freeze in the cellar. A cot, high-chair, baby-bath and changing mat are also provided.
There is a courtyard (with fence) and a garden where, depending on the time of year, clients can pick strawberries, raspberries, blackcurrants, redcurrants, tomatoes, courgettes and various herbs.
In the area, there are forests (with wild mushrooms), streams, lakes and rivers (for fishing and swimming), and paths and tracks for walking and cycling.

La Maison des Fleurs

Situated in the National Park of the Plateau de Millevaches, la Maison des Fleurs is an 18th Century farmhouse in the hamlet of Bunleix. The Plateau de Millevaches covers an area of more than 3,300 km²; it is one of France’s main water sources and a conservation area of outstanding natural beauty.

The gîte is a former barn attached to our house, the interior is a modern living space comprising of an open plan kitchen/dinning/living room, 3 bedrooms (double, twin and single), shower room and two toilets.

The living/dining area, with seating for 6 people, overlooks the garden; it has a wood burning stove for those cooler autumn and winter evenings. We also have a family sized television, with a DVD player and a selection of films in both French and English. Books, board games and outside games/toys are also available. Internet access is also available, if required.

The kitchen is fully fitted and well equipped, with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, electric oven, induction hob and a family sized fridge/freezer. All crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are supplied.

Electric heaters are installed in all rooms and two heated towel rails are located in the bathroom.

Outside there is a private garden with a barbecue, dining table (seating for 6 people), large sun umbrella and sun loungers. We also have children’s swings, a trampoline and a round 5 meter (16′) diameter pool.

Pets may be allowed in the gîte by prior arrangement.

Maison Bojac is a beautiful 2 bedroom character farmhouse in the Limousin suitable for families and holiday makers.

It is finished to a very high specification, in a quiet and relaxing setting in the Limousin and close to the picturesque and historic village of Chateauponsac. The local town has a communal pool and there is an inland- beach within 10 minutes drive away. As well as this there fishing, horse riding, walking and flying (for those who want a try at the local airport)

The property is a traditional farmhouse with 2 bedrooms for up to 5 people preserving many original characteristics and sympathetically renovated. Both rooms are en-suite, with adequate storage. The kitchen cum-dining area has all mod-cons and the living area provides space with original features, with today’s entertainment.

The house offers peace, rest and space, allowing it as a base for exploring the local area. Original flag stoned floors in the living room and beamed ceilings throughout make the property very relaxing.

Maison Bojac is in a quiet location some 2.5 km (1 3/4 mile) from the town; so a short drive away or stroll means you has access to bread wine, and grocery shopping. The house is in a small working farm hamlet and comes with a small front area to sit out in the sun, or relax under the tree with a glass of French wine or your favourite drink should the sun get too intense. There is a local communal pool between the house and on the edge of the town which is used through the spring-autumn.

Les Trois Chenes – gite and B&B near swimming lake

Our newly converted gîte and B&B provide excellent accommodation of a high standard. Registered with Gîtes de France, there are three bedrooms accommodating seven guests in the gite and Four bedrooms for 10 guests in the B&B. All our rooms are en-suite.

Outside there are extensive lawns where the children can play, a small barbeque, peach trees, grape vines, flowers and swings in a separate play area. The private parking is off-road and enclosed.

There are plenty of things to do within 15 minutes drive from Videix. Ideal for walkers and cyclists, the many quiet roads and paths pass through beautiful countryside and lead to pretty villages. You can swim and sunbathe at Videix beaches or hire kayaks, pedalos, canoes, sailing boats and wind-surfs at Videix Lake. There are two riding stables nearby, an adventure play centre and many farms to visit. Fishing is a great local pastime, (fishing permits are cheap and easily available) and only half an hour away there are two golf courses with full facilities. There is something to please everyone in the family.

Les Trois Chênes is situated within the Parc Naturel du Perigord-Limousin in SW France on the edge of the hamlet of Videix, surrounded by the unspoilt countryside of Limousin; ideal for painting and sketching.

From Videix you can visit many historic towns: Rochechouart, Saint Junien,
La Rochefoucauld, Limoges, Angoulême and Perigueux.

We also offer art and painting courses, and organise holidays where you can visit local food and wine producers and enjoy our rich, regional cuisine.

The Cottage
The cottage has 2 bedrooms, 1 double, 1 twin and a landing area with sofa bed, which can sleep an additional 2 people. The cottage has a large dining/living area with TV and DVD player, a newly fitted kitchen and a large bathroom with shower.

Bed & Breakfast
The main house offers bed & breakfast accommodation for up to 9 people. The Garden Suite consists of three rooms, one double bedroom with a balcony overlooking the garden, a twin bedroom and a shower room comprising a shower, wc and hand basin. The suite would suit a family with children or couples who do not mind sharing the shower room.
The Orchard Room is a large, dual aspect, double room with en-suite shower room, comprising a shower, WC and hand basin. The room has beautiful views over the orchard and beyond.
The Village Room is a large, sunny, dual aspect double room with e-nsuite shower room comprising a shower, WC and hand basin.
Tea and Coffee making facilities are available in all the rooms.
An extra bed or cot can be made available in any of the rooms upon request.

Both properties have full use of the extensive garden plunge pool and BBQ area. Because of its elevated position Le Pelateau has breathtaking views across the valley, these views can be enjoyed from both the garden and many of the rooms. Only 10 mins off A20, very easy to find.

River Cottage

River Cottage is located on the banks of the River Vige and surrounded by 10 acres of private woodland.

The gîte can sleep six adults via, two double beds one with an extra single bed plus a sofa bed in the lounge.

Nearby towns include Bourganeuf, Gueret and Bourganeuf and a lovely beach lake is only a short drive away.

* The lounge has an open stone fireplace, ideal for those cold winter nights. Lounge equipped with, satellite TV, CD player, two sofas. Double doors lead onto front lawn
