La Laiterie is a large, well equipped gîte that easily accommodates ten people and provides all that you need to really enjoy your holiday. Upstairs there are three bright and spacious bedrooms, a double, a twin and a very large bedroom with four singles and there is also a family sized bathroom complete with shower and toilet. Downstairs there is another double bedroom, bathroom with shower, separate bath and toilet and a utility room with a toilet and washing machine. The kitchen is very well equipped and is open plan onto the dining and lounge areas which comfortably seat ten people and have UK satellite TV and a DVD player. French doors from the lounge open out onto your own large, south facing private garden which is fenced and provides the ideal spot for resting and relaxing before taking yourself off to the heated pool for a refreshing dip. A barbecue, sun loungers, table and chairs ensure you make the most of your stay at La Laiterie.
Close to some of the most beautiful and impressive châteaux, such as Chenonceau and the captivating Villandry, Le Bouchet is the ideal location to make the most of your holiday – whether you want to chill out and relax by our heated pool or get out to see more of what our wonderful region has to offer. With the historic towns of Loches, Tours and Poitiers and the fantastic Futuroscope theme park all within easy reach, you are bound to find plenty to see and do for all ages. Le Manoir de Gurson sits in the middle of 98 acres of beautiful scenery, with private pool, 3 fishing lakes, and woods.

Each of the 5 bedrooms has private en-suite facilities (one has a separate luxury bathroom). Sleeps 10, plus 2 small children in cot and toddler bed (no extra charge). The large kitchen is fully equipped, with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery. The lounge has a delightful woodburner, plus Sky tv (basic channels), DVD player, and Playstation. The dining room isn’t used much, as most people like to eat ‘al fresco’ by the pool (with alarm), which overlooks the hidden valley. There is a separate laundry room, with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.

This is the place where you can totally relax and unwind. Children are welcome, and there are outdoor toys, swing, basketball hoop, 2 bikes, table tennis table, as well as board games. There is a golf driving range in its infancy – you just have to collect the balls afterwards!

Spend a lazy afternoon by the lakes and try out the rowing boat. Walk through the woods and discover the old car hidden there.

Smoking is allowed outdoors. There is plenty of room for parking.

This is a good base from which to discover all that the area has to offer: nearby beach and lake at Lac de Gurson, with adventure playground, mini golf, horse riding, bars and restaurants; Montpon-Ménestérol, where you can hire a kayak and see France from the water; St Emilion, famous for its wines and underground monolithic church; Castillon la Bataille, with the annual renactment of the 100 Years War; Bergerac, a town where new and old mix together; Bordeaux, with its ’4 Quartiers’; Brantôme, which is really pretty; Périgueux, with its famous domed church; Sarlat de Canéda, on the banks of the Dordogne; local weekly markets, night markets, concerts – there’s so much to do and see.

Wilt U heerlijk tot rust komen in een klein dorp op het Franse platteland in een ruime maison caractére uit 1768 op een afstand van 600 km vanaf Utrecht, dan is deze plek echt iets voor U.

Gelegen in de Haute Marne, departemen Champagne Ardenne, in een van de minst bevolkte gebieden van Frankrijk in een rustige natuurrijke heuvelachtige en bosrijke omgeving. Hier kan men wandelen, fietsen/mountainbiken etc of gewoon genieten van de rust. In het meer op ongeveer 5 minuten lopen kan men vissen. Op 10 minuten autorijden stroomt de Saône waar men in de Marina een boot kan huren of een hapje en drankje kan nuttigen.

Het gebied is nog niet door het massatoerisme ontdekt en in de omgeving liggen diverse mooie plaatsen en dorpen, het wordt de “Groene Vallei” genoemd.

Bekende rivieren zoals de Seine, de Maas en de Marne vinden hier hun oorsprong. Onze gite ligt op de grens van de Haute Marne met de Haute Saône en de Bourgogne. De gite is geschikt voor grote gezinnen of groepen van 10 personen. Indien u met meerdere personen bent dient U vooraf contact op te nemen.

Quatorze Cottage and Apartment

Beautiful, Affordable, Flexible 3/4 bedroom, 3 bathroom cottage, Master Suite with balcony, 2 large reception rooms, country kitchen and large elevated deck looking out over magnificent countryside.
There are two reception rooms, the sitting room is a large but wonderfully cosy room with double aspect windows. There is a wood burning stove for the colder months but during the summer months this is the coolest room in the house with its thick stone walls. For entertainment there is a TV with Freeview, DVD Player, Stereo and plenty of books.
The 2nd sitting room has recently been refurbished, its a lovely, bright room even on dull days due to the three windows and large french doors which open up on to the elevated deck. There is a dining table for eight as well as a large sofa, TV with Freeview and a bar/kitchen area.
Master suite with sitting area, dressing area and luxury shower room. There is a super kingsize bed and if required the room is large enough to accommodate a single bed for a child. There are french doors leading onto a large private balcony overlooking the valley and woods beyond.
Bedroom 2 has a kingsize bed, a lovely feature fireplace and oak beams.
Bedroom 3 has a double bed and childs bed, beams and large armoire and is next to the family bathroom
Bedroom 4 is on the ground floor along with a shower room and can be set up as a twin or double as required. Both the bedroom and shower room are optional and can be closed off if not required thereby reducing the weekly rental.
Kitchen facilities
Large Kitchen/Diner with dishwasher, washing machine, Smeg electric cooker and gas hob, integrated fridge and freezer. Large stone feature fireplace with wood burning Rayburn for use in the cooler months. French doors lead out to the side of the house and onto the elevated deck.
External facilities
The garden wraps around the property, there is a large circular drive at the front with parking for 5 vehicles, a small courtyard area in front of the cottage with flower garden. At the rear is a large grassed area with fruit trees. The deck is 5m x 8m with built in seating and there are plenty of chairs and tables. There is a BBQ, a hammock seat in the great oak and a fire pit at the bottom of the garden.
Special features
Quatorze Cottage is a 3 bedroom property with a 1 bedroom self contained apartment, there is an interconnecting door into the cottage and when renting the Cottage you have use of the Apartments sitting room. You can choose to rent out the extra bedroom and bathroom too for £100 per week but if you dont require 4 bedrooms then we simply lock them and you pay the flat rental charge.
Alternatively you may choose to use this area as a self contained unit thereby enabling two groups or larger family parties to holiday together but not get under one anothers feet. The self contained unit is all on the ground floor level and suitable for guests who have reduced mobility.

Please note: We do not let The Apartment as a seperate unit between May and September, when renting Quatorze Cottage you get the whole property to yourselves.

Le Bouriage is a charming Maison de Maitre (manor house) situated at the end of our village with a 4000m2 garden. The spacious house, near Sarlat, sleeps up to 10 people with all modern comfort (wifi, satellite TV, Aga stove). The 155 m2 manor house that was recently restored in 2007.

All the pleasures and historical wealth of the Dordogne are less than an hour drive away (Sarlat, Lascaux, les Eyzies, the Dordogne valley, Rocamadour) as well as numerous activities.

Rates from 550 to 1000 euros per week depending on the season. The house is only available for weekly rentals.

Le Bouriage is situated in the middle of agricultural land along a no-through road that goes to the Dordogne river 500m away.

A lovely and spacious gite near Bergerac, Aquitaine. This restored barn sleeps up to 10 people. Fully equipped and furnished to a high standard. Swimming pool. Located in a sleepy, peaceful hamlet in Loubes Bernac.
The house dates back some 300 years and still retains a few original features such as the chais, the VATS, the cow stalls and a hayloft ladder.

Duras, Eymet and Saint Foye La Grande are all approximately 20 minutes drive away. All 3 towns are very popular with tourists and all have excellent restaurants and markets selling fresh produce.
The well known Chateau de Vigiers is just a 5 minute drive from the house. The Chateau is open to non residents for golf, spa treatments and dining.

Bergerac is just a 40 minute drive away with regular flights to Stansted. Well worth a visit, even if just for a boat ride down the Dordogne.
Bordeaux is 90 minutes away with regular flights to Gatwick. Excellent shopping facilities and beaches. The medieval town of Sarlat is just under 2 hours drive away and well worth a visit. Chateau de Vigiers with golf and spa facilities is less than 1 mile away.

Les Cerisiers, Brittany – near Dinan

Originally two cottages with a staircase at each end of the house giving separate access to two en-suite bedrooms on one side and three bedrooms with a family shower room and toilet on the other side. Les Cerisiers, a gite near Dinan in Brittany, is the ideal holiday home for more than one family holidaying together, or for groups of friends. There is large kitchen, dining table to seat 10, lounge with wood burning stove, family room and utility room. Outside is a lovely private secluded garden with swimming pool, swings, ample private parking and a BBQ. For families travelling with young children we are very happy to provide, at no extra cost, a steriliser, hand blender, travel cot, baby bath, changing mat, highchairs and booster seats, pushchair and child size crockery and cutlery. We also have a great range of toys, books and videos to entertain the younger (and older) guests. The house is also perfect for a smaller group and we offer discounted rates.

Situated between Dinan and Lamballe, with many wonderful beaches less than half an hour’s drive. Jugon is a beautiful medieval town built by a lake offering a huge variety of watersports and outdoor pool complex. There are good restaurants and a great bakers. Locally you can find cycling, horseriding, walking, golf and fishing. The surrounding towns and villages have bustling and colourful local markets and plenty of festivals.

All electric, towels and bed linen are included in the price. The pool is an above ground pool 4.5m in diameter and is entered via a portable ladder. We respectfully remind parents that the safety of their children in and around the pool is their responsibility at all times. The pool will be available June to September.

La Grange is a stunning seventeen Century house, furnished and maintained to a high standard. set in 1 1/2 acres of landscaped gardens and fruit orchards. the grounds include a full sized Petanque court, a large field for ball games and a patio/barbecue area with plenty of seating.

The ground floor consists of a large comfortable lounge/diner with a wood burning stove in a granite fireplace (a supply of wood is included in the rental price). An English satellite TV system allows you to access all the ‘free to air’ channels. Also available are DVD & CD players with a selection of discs. A large bed settee is available in the lounge if you wish to increase the sleeping capacity to 12.

The kitchen is well equipped with an oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, and washing machine. There is a ground floor bathroom with a large bath.

Upstairs consists of a minstrel gallery library/lounge (which can also be used as a fourth bedroom, sleeping 2) and second bathroom with shower. The master bedroom provides a double bed and private sitting area. Bedroom 2 has a king sized bed, with the option of an additional single bed. The 3rd bedroom has 3 singles.
